Payment of Fees
By completing the event registration form, the attendee is committing to attend and therefore pay the applicable amount (complying with the cancellation policy below).

All payments should be made prior to the event. 
You are encouraged to pay by means of credit or debit card or you can choose the invoice option. Invoices should be paid within 30 days of the invoice date.

Payment can also be made online via the link that is on your invoice.

Bookings are considered confirmed when an invoice has been issued or an online payment has been received.

Cancellation and refunds
All cancellations requests must be sent in writing by email to Marzia Sguazzin at msguazzin@bioindustry.org.

If you cancel after 11th August 2021, the full fee remains payable.

Companies may nominate a substitute from within their own organisation if a registered person is unable to attend.

Should we be required to cancel or postpone the event due to Covid related Government guidelines, we will offer attendees and sponsors the option of a full refund.

Should we be forced to cancel the event due to circumstances outside of our control and not Covid related, we will not refund any fees paid to us.

Data protection
Your full name, company name, job title, email address and telephone number will be collected upon registration and stored by the BIA in line with its privacy statement and could be used to contact you with regard to this and/or other events, products and services which we believe you might be interested in based on your purchase history with us. 

Your full name, company name and dietary requirements might be shared with the venue (The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple www.middletemplevenue.org.uk) to allow you access into the garden.

Delegate lists
We plan to distribute a soft copy of the delegate list. This list will consist of the full name, company name and job title of all registered attendees, but will not include contact details such as email addresses.

We don’t allow third parties to use these lists for promotional purposes.

Photographs/screenshots
We will take photographs of the event and we might use the photos to market future ones (e.g.: on twitter, on direct marketing emails, etc).

The data that the BIA will collect from you will be treated in accordance to the above and to our privacy statement. This is necessary in order for you to be able to join our event and is therefore a precondition of service.

Sponsorship options

For this event we have an event supporter and a named supporter option. They both include a number of delegate tickets and branding in the lead up to the event. The Event supporter option also includes branding at the event.

Marzia Sguazzin

Events Manager

BIA

Marzia joined the BIA in July 2018 as Events Manager and is responsible for running a wide range of membership events while working closely with marketing, business development, content and policy colleagues.

Before joining the BIA, Marzia worked at The Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and at IQPC, an international conference company. Her experience spans across events and membership management, database and delegate administration.
